A successful first for Ha-Be Middle East

One of the world’s leading tunnel events – ITA-AITES World Tunnel Congress in Dubai– brought together more over 2.000 international experts. The focus laid on “The Role of Underground Space in Building Future Sustainable Cities”. Our Ha-Be Middle East presented our admixture systems for tunnelling at the featured exhibition.
 
“It is a pleasure being here, the atmosphere is great and we’ve met important guests at our booth”, says Klaus Hofmann, Managing Director at Ha-Be Middle East.

We’ve informed on our innovative new admixture concepts for concrete used in TBM and shotcrete construction. Furthermore, we gave an insight into our project involvements at Ismailia Tunnel Road under the Suez Canal in Egypt. 350.000 m³ concrete have been used for the production of lining segments and annular gap mortar.

“This huge project was very impressive”, adds Marcel Paulitsch, Technical Manager at Ha-Be Middle East. “The call was for high quality concrete, easy to use, time and cost saving, and with specific requirements for durability. We’ve met all demands by using products of our PANTARHIT®-Line, our separating agent VARIOL EMM and our HA-BE SILICA FLUID”, he points out.
